Everything has a reason.
Offload is not a flat board with pockets cut into it. Its proportions, spacing and surface transitions were designed as one system—so the tray feels quiet even when it is full.
Defined placement zones
Separate spaces prevent small daily objects from collapsing into a pile while keeping them visible and immediately reachable.
Balanced breathing space
Space between recesses creates visual separation. The tray organises through composition, not dividers that add more noise.
Continuous surface flow
Each recess moves gradually from wall into base. Continuous curvature is easy on fingers and lets objects lift out naturally.
Grounded desk footprint
Compact enough for a desk or bedside, substantial enough to become the default landing place.

Teak material selection
Solid teak is chosen for grain, integrity and enough material to carve the complete form without lamination.

Precision CNC machining
Controlled toolpaths establish three zones, consistent depth and carefully resolved transitions across the complete surface.

Detailed hand refinement
Patient hand-sanding refines edges, recesses and touch points beyond the accurate machine-cut starting geometry.

Protective surface finishing
A water-resistant, UV-protected finish seals the wood while keeping the teak grain visually present.

Individual quality inspection
Grain, transitions, finish and overall feel are checked individually before every Offload is packed.
Why one solid block?
No seams. No joints. No interruption.
Making Offload from a single block is the harder route, but it is central to the object. The grain travels across the body instead of stopping at glued components. The result feels visually whole because it physically is.

Each tray is made from natural wood. Grain and tone will vary slightly, making every piece one of one.

Before you make room.
Is every Offload made from one piece of wood?
Yes. The tray body is machined from one solid block of teak hardwood, without joinery.
What is the difference between the finishes?
Natural keeps the teak visually close to its original tone. Walnut creates a deeper, more consistent brown. The Assorted combo includes one of each finish.
Will mine look exactly like the photographs?
No. Teak is a natural material, so grain pattern, colour and small tonal variations differ from piece to piece.
Is Offload water resistant?
Yes. It receives a protective water-resistant, UV-protected finish. It is not intended for prolonged immersion.

Offload is designed and made in India using CNC precision machining followed by hand refinement and finishing.
